Here are some of the projects we are involved in during the school year 2011/12
Education Through Expeditions, Plymouth/Worldwide, England
We are actively involved in exchanging information about life in the Arctic with schools in the United Kingdom. We are doing this through the Education Through Expeditions (ETE) not-for-profit organisation that puts classrooms in Britain in touch with expeditions all over the world. On contacting Antony Jinman, ETE's founder, our school became an Outreach Expedition enabling classrooms to follow our daily life in Qaanaaq, and to ask us questions about life in the far north.

Torsted Skole, Horsens, Denmark
We are in the process of developing contact with the 4th graders of Torsted School in Denmark.
They have worked very hard developing a website through which to share information. Now it is our turn to tell them about our life in Qaanaaq.

We are excited to join the school in Ikerasaarsuk as the second station in Greenland for recording data relating to sea ice. Keep an eye on our blog as we develop the project together with Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire, USA.
