Formninngi amma 6 klassi

We had lots of plaster of Paris after we "built" Malik.

So we made masks and gloves in class.

First we had to apply lots of vaseline so the plaster would not stick to our skin.

With lots of vaseline the masks were easy to remove.

Kaaleeraq and Pipaluk were uncovered.

Then it was Mîdtlâraq's turn. Tupaarnaq helped make her mask.

Pipaluk helped Nicoline.

Mîdtlâraq looked very scary.

Everybody started to help!

Even the 5th graders!

Mîdtlâraq wanted a special nose!

Everyone had a good time and worked hard.

Now they just need painting!

"Malik"

Vi vil gerne introducere vores ny elev i 6. klasse...

...men vi skal lige bygge ham færdig.

Klassen sagde han skal hedder "Malik".

Vi har allesammen været med til at bygge Malik og derfor skriver vi vores navn på hans stativ.

 

Så skal der arbejdes.

Maliks krop er lavede af trådflet

og gips - tak Ilaitsuk! ;O)

Vi prøvede at bygge ham fra ben opad.

Malik blev mere og mere ustabilt og vi skulle holde ham imens vi sæt gips på.

Man kan tydelig se at Malik er en dreng.

Især i dette billede!

Malik er ikke helt færdig men så snart han har arm og hoved kan vi brug ham til naturfags undervisning - Malik vil hjælp os til at navngive og lær om de forskellige organer vi har i kroppen.

Getting dressed with the 6th graders

The 6th graders played the Clothes Game too.

It was fast.

It was fun.

They got very hot wearing all the clothes!

But they were still cool!

The game got a little harder...

...when they played it in pairs.

 They still had to find the item of clothing written on the card,

but they had to run in pairs, while wearing the same clothes!

It got a little crazy!

They got a little tied up.

It was difficult to remember what clothes they were wearing.

And they had to find new ways of wearing clothes.

That made it even more crazy and fun!

The Clothes Game with 5th grade

We are building our vocabulary of English words.

We wanted to have fun...

...and we found a pile of clothes.

On the count of three we had to run and choose one noun...

...and then find the clothes that fit the noun.

Sometimes we had to find more than one item of clothing.

The 9th graders thought it was fun too!

More and more pupils - and teachers - were racing to find clothes...

...and struggling to be the first to put them all on.

We also worked with colours...

...and descriptions like patterns.

Rasmus, 9th grade, even found a swimsuit!

Sun Games

When the sun returned the 9th and 10th graders were taking their mock exams. Everyone else, from 1st to 8th grade, met in Nukaarliit to play games.

The students from Ilinniarfissuaq were responsible for the games...

... and hiding children under a blanket!

The sun was hidden behind the clouds but the pupils from Nukaarliit painted their faces with the sun!

We played lots of silly games.

We had fun.
